He was the Director of Advanced Periodontics at USC from 1995 to 2012 and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. 

Founder of the Taipei Academy of Reconstructive Dentistry in Taiwan. Since 2012 to 2016, an active member of a review committee for The National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR) in Italy 

Served as one of the selected scientific experts charged with assessing and ranking research proposals on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Education, University, and Research. 

The Producer of a non-profit movie: “The Enemy of The Smile”, the winner of the Best Short Educational Film at the International Family Film Festival 2011 and the Beverly Hills film festival.
